The World Masters Games are an international multi-sport athletic competition held every four years by the International Masters Games Association (IMGA) for anyone over the age of 30. Medals are given to each event winner for male and female categories classified by age group. Ex-professional athletes or ex-Olympians can participate.

The Games will be held from 14 to 30 May 2021. Over 80 venues in the Kansai Region across nine prefectures will be used for 35 sports. It will be held in Asia for the first time and will be the largest event in World Master Games history attracting 50,000 participants!
