Philippines being a Catholic country have several religious custom activities. One of the pilgrimage activities that has been practiced by Catholics is “Bisita Iglesia” – a tagalog term which means visitation to churches. “Bisita” means visitation and “Iglesia” means churches wherein believers have to visit at least 7 churches. Incorporating faith and stamina, we organized BISIKLETA IGLESIA, bicycling to churches.
Overview
Bisikleta Iglesia is an online pilgrimage biking activity wherein participants have to complete visiting 7 churches, shrines or chapels at their own route, time, pace, and place given that they can accomplished within the dates of May 22-28, 2021. Once participant reaches their preferred church, they have to take a selfie. They need to complete and comply all at least 7 selfies and send to JTB Facebook page for verification and to claim the finisher kits.
